Internet Explorer AutoComplete Passwords
You know when you get to a website that prompts for a username and password and then Internet Explorer prompts you with the following?:
Well, if you click on "No" then you don't get prompted again so if you change your mind later because you got tired of having to type that password over and over again, how do you get this prompt back so that Internet Explorer could save/remember the password? Well, it's easier than you might think.
Go back to the website in question...
- In the login form, double-click the box where you would enter your username/user ID/email address. This should give you a drop-down list of saved account names/usernames like the example below.
- With your mouse, simply highlight the username to which you want to save a password for and press the "Delete" button on your keyboard.
- Now just log back in, putting in the username and password on the login form and AutoComplete will offer to save your login information (including the password) once again.
That's it! You can do this with all the usernames you see on the drop-down and save them all if you have several accounts for example.
