Tocando Timbales
I've been playing percussion instruments since I was very young, yet I never thought of videotaping or recording any of it (I've always been camera shy). Now that I've gotten older (not that old, I'm only 29), visual memories have become very important. I start wondering what I look like or sometimes I've done something on an instrument that I wish I would be able to see again.
Thankfully, others appreciate how I play and have recorded me and posted the videos on YouTube. Thanks to my boy, Eddie Gonzalez, I can finally reminisce on some of that. I will, from now on, record more of me playing so I don't regret it in the future, lol! On these videos, I'm playing the Timbales (the two drums on a stand which is played with two timbale sticks, though they look a bit like drum sticks) and I'm the funky looking guy playing them. They are from Thanksgiving 2006 and New Year's 2006/2007.
These videos also show my brothers Moises, Javier, and Josue along with Titi Perla, Tio Danny, cousins Liza, Ray, Dbo, Annie, David, Marliz, etc. (too many to list).
