Street Fighter 4 Guide from Hardcore Gamer Magazine

So this guide is from September 2008 and I just now found it. I'm sooo late. I found it at Hardcore Gamer through gootecks' site.

It's a 34MB download and it included some other articles about other games that I just didn't care for and so I extracted the Street Fighter 4 pages from the PDF and kept that. Which brings it down to only about 5MB...HUGE difference.

I did this mainly because I wanted to be able to view it on my iPhone, though I'm not sure if I will be able to, lol.

My First Mac

I was never really interested in the Mac until I saw Leopard in action. I just didn't really care for it's UI and ugly colors despite the fact that I loved the idea that applications are generall (though not always the case) are single, self-contained, portable app-like, packages that can be uninstalled by simply moving it to the Trash or pressing the delete key.

Finished my J-phrases

Took a couple of days, but I just finished copying my Japanese phrases from my Google Sites page.

I prefered to have it here in Jimdo because I can break down each phrase as a module and work with them individually that way. Hence, the reason it took so long for me to here.

My HP TouchSmart IQ 506 PC

HP TouchSmart PC HP TouchSmart PC

My custom PC's motherboard had died and I figured it was time to "get with the program" and get a new system that's a bit more recently technology.

I was battling between getting a whitebox system (build it myself) or a brand-box (Dell, HP, etc.). I went shopping for my dad, as he himself needed a new PC, also. I found him a good Dell system at Best Buy but before I even got to looking I noticed (couldn't help but) the HP TouchSmart IQ 504 PC.

Enable/Disable Hibernation in Windows Vista

This will be quick and to the point as my time is limited tonight.

I've only had to do this once but I might have to do it again in the future or it could be useful to someone else; not that it's a secret or anything. I'm refering to Hibernation in Vista.

My 30th Birthday

I don't know...I still feel like I'm 29 (LOL). Julissa surprised me at midnight because as usual she wanted to be the first to wish me "Happy Birthday" and be the first to give me gifts. She got me a Dell E198WFPv 19" Widescreen LCD monitor. I've wanting one for as long as I can remember but since my 20" CRT was still working fine, I couldn't find an excuse to cough up more okane (money) for an LCD. I was joking around one day looking at a Dell catalog and just pointed at this monitor and said "I want one of those for my birthday". Well, she took it seriously.

ReadyBoost Stopped Working!

I was playing around with some USB Flash/Thumb drives I had laying around trying to find which one of them was ReadyBoost capable in Windows Vista to finally give this great sdcm2gbfeature a shot. Out of the three that I tried, my SanDisk 2GB Cruzer Micro was the only one capable. These drives come with U3 Smart Technology in a Read-Only partition. I realized I didn't use included portable apps at all so I wanted to get rid of that partition; but I simply couldn't go to Disk Management and "Delete Volume".

Julissa's Birthday

Today was Julissa's birthday, but we didn't much. I took her out to eat at our favorite restaurant, P. F. Chang's, in Tyson's Corner.

I am planning a surprise birthday party this Friday (May 9) for her and that's why I didn't want to make this day a big deal so that she would feel like I don't care and didn't try hard enough (ja ja...I know...I'm MEAN).

Tocando Timbales

I've been playing percussion instruments since I was very young, yet I never thought of videotaping or recording any of it (I've always been camera shy). Now that I've gotten older (not that old, I'm only 29), visual memories have become very important. I start wondering what I look like or sometimes I've done something on an instrument that I wish I would be able to see again.

Horizontal Lines on a Word document

Today at work a user had an issue (which I'm not sure if I would call an issue) in which a Office Word document had horizontal lines throughout the whole document. It looked like sheets of college ruled notebook paper.

El Padre Nuestro a lo Mejicano

This is soooo hilarious!! Titi Perla emailed this to me and, I think, Goldi (Moises); maybe others, too, but I didn't pay attention. It sounds like a little girl and she's Mexican, praying "El Padre Nuestro" but in a chicano slang way. Just listen for yourself and you'll see what I mean.

Iron Man

Julissa and I met up with some friends and family to watch Iron Man; a Marvel Superhero movie. This movie is possibly the best superhero movie I've seen to date. I took some pictures of the crew that hung out. Some of them were having a little too much fun with some of the props around the movie theater.

Talking about what makes video games 'addictive'?

Are video games addictive? The jury's still out. Experts disagree on whether compulsive game-playing is a real addiction. So how does a normal gamer transform into a bleary-eyed zombie? And do game companies try to hook players?

Password Protect Word/Excel Files

If you have a Word document or an Excel worksheet/workbook that contains confidential/private information, you might've considered protecting it with a password. The problem is you don't know how or you forgot; like I often do. The good news is...it's very simple.

My Favorite Fight Scene

The video clip scene below is from Tony Jaa's Tom Yum Goong (aka The Protector in the States). This is easily one of the most painful fighting scenes ever as Tony breaks the bones of quite a few dudes makes lots of human pretzels. That is what happens when you mess with a man's pet elephant.

S-Video to Composite RCA Cable

This simple adapter can be used to convert Y/C video (S-video) to a composite video. This adapter is useful in cases where your video output device has only S-video output but your signal source accepts only composite video input. This works with both PAL and NTSC video standards.
